Full Job Description
Role Scope
  • Lead fire protection engineering for R&D: detection, suppression, and life safety for modular data centers and BTM plants.
  • Own the fire protection reference design: systems selected, coded, and standardized across novel occupancies.
  • Drive AHJ strategy: approaches that get first-of-a-kind designs approved without redesign.
  • Set the technical bar and grow the discipline as the portfolio scales.
What We're Looking For
  • The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
  • You've led fire protection engineering for industrial, mission-critical, or energy facilities.
  • You've gotten unusual designs through AHJs by engineering, not arguing.
  • You know the codes cold: NFPA 13, 72, 75, 855, and the ones that surprise people.
  • You've evaluated suppression trade-offs for high-value electronics and energy systems.
  • You've built fire protection standards others design to.
  • Bonus: PE in fire protection. Performance-based design. BESS fire protection. Liquid-cooled environment protection.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
