Job Description:
Summary
The Consultant Engineer is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.
The Finished Vehicle Analytic Engineer transforms complex logistics data into actionable insights to optimize vehicle distribution across North America. This role drives network efficiency, cost competitiveness, and service performance through advanced analytics, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.
Role is hybrid ( 3x/week onsite in Warren and remote the other 2 days)

Essential Functions
Collects data and performs statistical analysis
Maps and documents processes. Recommends and implements process improvement
Establishes and implements performance measures
Manages small and medium size projects
Conducts Supply Chain and/or inventory analysis
Re-designs and/or re-engineers logistics processes
Supports business development and creates efficient designs and solutions
Determines efficient utilization of resources by analyzing layouts, labor force, driver and equipment utilization charts
Additional Responsibilities
Applies company methodologies and tools to design transportation operations
Confers with the Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions
Applies Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Statistical Process Controls (SPC) tools
Assists in the development and delivery of presentations to customers as part of the sales team effort
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
Master's degree preferred Industrial Engineering and/or Masters Degree
Four (4) years or more related work experience required

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
