Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Wellness Consultant I. A Financial Wellness Consultant is pivotal in orchestrating the transition to a holistic financial wellness program, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs, culture, and expectations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a tailored financial wellness strategy that aligns with the client's goals, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring the program's success and client satisfaction. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities
  • Financial Wellness Program Planning- Assist in developing and presenting financial wellness program recommendations and action plans aligned with client objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify appropriate resources, education topics, and engagement strategies that support client goals and participant needs.
  • Client Discovery and Needs Assessment- Conduct discovery meetings with client stakeholders to understand organizational goals, company culture, financial benefits offerings, and participant financial wellness needs. Gather information necessary to support the development of a tailored financial wellness strategy and client action plan.
  • Program Launch and Execution- Coordinate program launch activities and support the implementation of financial wellness initiatives. Work with clients and internal teams to facilitate a successful rollout and ensure financial wellness resources are effectively integrated into the client's existing benefits and communication strategies.
  • Ongoing Client Relationship Management- Serve as a primary contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular communication to support program execution and client satisfaction. Conduct periodic reviews to discuss program activity, participant engagement metrics, and utilize insights and client feedback to recommend adjustments that enhance program effectiveness and improve participant engagement.
  • Client Education and Financial Wellness Advocacy- Educate clients on available financial wellness resources, services, and best practices. Support efforts to promote financial well-being within client organizations by helping stakeholders understand the value of financial wellness programs and employee engagement strategies.
  • Internal Collaboration and Service Delivery- Partner with Financial Advisors, Wealth Advisors, Financial Wellness Consultants, Marketing, and Operations teams to support consistent service delivery and client experience. Escalate complex client situations when appropriate and contribute to the successful execution of team initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 7 years of related industry experience; retirement plans and relationship management

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in strategic planning, program development, and client engagement within the financial services industry, particularly in financial wellness.
  • Strong understanding of holistic financial wellness concepts and the ability to translate these into actionable, client-specific strategies.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the scope of holistic financial wellness.
  • Exceptional client service orientation, with a commitment to excellence in program implementation and management.
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
