Financial Services

Lead the design, development, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of funds flow data architecture, calculation environments, and reporting solutions that support financial and operational decision-making across the health system. As the Financial Systems & Reporting Lead, you will play a key role in the comprehensive redesign and implementation of UCLA Health's funds flow model and supporting systems. You will translate approved funds flow methodologies into scalable data structures, business rules, and reporting tools while supporting physician attribution, productivity reporting, funding allocation, and complex financial analytics.

This role partners closely with Finance, the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics, and operational stakeholders to strengthen reporting accuracy, data integrity, automation, and business intelligence capabilities.

In this role, you will:
• Translate funds flow methodologies and financial assumptions into system requirements, business rules, data models, calculation logic, and reporting structures, and maintain documentation for data definitions and calculation methodologies.
• Design and maintain funds flow data architecture and reporting environments in partnership with Finance, the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics, and operational stakeholders.
• Develop data requirements, integrate financial, clinical, and operational data; build scalable, automated solutions that improve reporting efficiency and reduce reliance on manual processes.
• Develop executive, departmental, and operational reports, dashboards, analytical tools, forecasts, and recommendations that support physician attribution, productivity reporting, and funding allocation.
• Lead data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis across multiple source systems to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial calculations and reporting outputs.
• Establish data quality standards, controls, testing plans, and monitoring processes for system enhancements, reporting changes, and model updates.
• Consult with technical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate data sources, resolve data management issues, and provide guidance on business intelligence, reporting, and analytics best practices.
• Support training, adoption, and effective use of business intelligence tools and reporting solutions.

Salary Range:
$98,200 to $214,600 annually
