- Serves as a System Manager for the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), Information and Technology (IT) Directorate.
- Responsible for management and operational control over the most challenging and complex finance and accounting information systems projects.
- Apply knowledge of financial management systems development life cycle planning to oversee system design, test and implementation requirements.
- Develops and employs tools and methods to track progress throughout the life cycle of a project and ensure schedules and objectives are accomplished according to milestones.
- Uses managerial techniques and quantitative analysis to monitor work in progress and evaluate the status and progress of work.
- Provides feedback to leadership and stakeholders through appropriate reports, meetings, briefings and information papers.
- Directs the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS) budgetary lifecycle by overseeing daily operating funds, tracking system obligations, managing contracts and ensuring accurate execution of funding.
