Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

In tax accounting services at PwC, you will assist businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns, and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Meaningful work you’ll be part

As a Financial Reporting and Tax Compliance, Senior Manager in our Core Reporting group, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities level include but are not limited to:

Experience and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Completion of Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course would be an asset but not necessary.
  • Experience in a public accountant firm.
  • Canadian CPA designation.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Entities (ASPE), CSRS 4200 Compilation engagements, CSRE 2400 Review engagements, Canadian Audit Standards.
  • Strong communication, and facilitator skills with demonstrated ability to work with multiple personalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening and coaching skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner.
  • Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service.
  • The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada.

The salary range for this position is $97,800 - $147,800. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.  We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation. During the hiring process, our Talent Acquisition team will provide details about our comprehensive total rewards package.
