About The Role: Draganfly Innovations Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead our financial planning and analysis processes. Reporting to the CFO, this role will play a key part in forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and providing meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making, growth, and profitability across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements. This is a full-time, remote role based with Draganfly's Finance team.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and key business decisions.
- Partner with department leaders to gather input for the annual financial plan, including setting spending limits, establishing revenue goals, and identifying key business drivers.
- Update monthly or quarterly forecasts to assess company performance and identify where adjustments may be needed.
- Analyze financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to support growth, profitability, and operational decision-making.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, with clear explanations of business impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with strategic objectives and department priorities.
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers and acquisitions, product launches, hiring plans, and other growth initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.
- Act as an internal advisor to executives and department heads by translating financial data into actionable insights.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the organization.
- Help promote a culture of collaboration and accountability across departments within the organization.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree, advanced degree in a relevant field, or CPA designation is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as Vareto.
- Familiarity with various ERP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to be part of high-performing teams within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
Compensation package: - Competitive salary: $115,000 - $130,000 CAD
- Bonus eligibility is included as part of the compensation package.
