Full Job Description

Why This Role Matters:

We are seeking a project manager who drives the engine between Sales and the Operations Technology team.  You own a portfolio of concurrent projects of varying size and complexity keeping each one on schedule and keeping stakeholder confidently in the loop. You’ll run projects end-to-end covering three key components: sales enablement, operational efficiency, and platform projects.

From the beginning, you’ll build trust with stakeholders, create tighter delivery, clearer plans, and have fewer surprises.  This role entails building and running trackers, dashboards, and intake workflows in Smartsheet.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Plan and run projects end to end — from intake through delivery. Build the project plan, line up the people, assign the work, and drive it to done.
  • Turn requirements into a plan — take what the business needs and what the company is trying to do and merge them into one plan that the delivery team and the technical staff can work from.
  • Stay ahead of risk — watch progress, spot the problems early, and put a fix in motion before they become escalations.
  • Keep stakeholders, clients, and vendors in the loop — send the updates, raise the issues that need raising, and drive them to a resolution.
  • Manage scope and schedule changes cleanly — use a real change process so the timeline and the plan stay honest.
  • Measure how projects are doing — track health and delivery metrics in Smartsheet and report them straight.
  • Keep the documentation current — project records, plans, and status that anyone can pick up.
  • Hold the line on standards — keep the work inside company policy and the team's project standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years running projects in IT or the insurance industry.
  • Extensive experience in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office (Office 365) hands-on: you build the trackers, dashboards, Gantt and Kanban views, not just fill them in. Strong Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience taking projects through the full SDLC, from early development to implementation.
  • Solid organization and attention to detail; you juggle several projects without dropping any.
  • Problem-solver who adapts when the requirements move mid-project.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience – PMP or CAPM certification is preferred
  • Contact center, sales-technology, or other regulated-industry / insurance operations background is ideal
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of the platforms this team touches (ticketing, CRM, telephony) enough to run projects across them is preferred
  • Solid communications skills both written and verbal
  • How you work with people matters as much as what you know
  • Be curious enough to understand the work before you plan it
  • Show empathy for the teams delivering and the stakeholders waiting
  • Confident giving and receiving feedback
  • Demonstrate flexibility when priorities shift
  • Be resilient, calm, and have a good-humored attitude when a project gets hard
