Givens Communities is looking for a Financial Operations Applications Analyst to join our Financial Operations team! The Financial Operations Applications Analyst is the bridge between our financial operations and our technology platforms. This role owns the financial operations application portfolio through its full life cycle, keeping each application running, patched, upgraded, supported, enhanced, and trained on. This position is also responsible for the administration and governance of artificial intelligence capabilities and training within the financial operations systems, including how those capabilities are enabled, configured, monitored, secured and measured. This is a fully on-site role that can be based out of our Asheville, Black Mountain, or Charlotte campuses.
What you'll do:
31 Serve as the primary administrator, support contact, and escalation point for the organization's financial operations application systems and financial reporting platform
31 Own each application through its full life cycle: installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, enhancement, support, and end user training
31 Maintain, develop and update workflows, dashboards, saved reports, roles, and permissions within financial operations applications
31 Ensure responsible use of artificial intelligence in financial workflows consistent with organizational policy, data privacy requirements, and audit expectations
31 Support month end and year end close from a systems standpoint, including processing schedules, batch jobs, and period management
31 Plan, test, and validate upgrades, additions and patches; coordinate maintenance windows, test plans, and rollback plans before changes reach production
31 Conduct periodic audits of user access and application licensing to improve security and control software spend
31 Research and remain current with emerging technologies relevant to financial operations
31 Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
31 A bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or a related field is preferred
31 Certifications in enterprise business applications, accounting software platforms, or artificial intelligence tools are preferred
31 3 to 5 years of progressive experience administering, maintaining, supporting, and analyzing enterprise business applications, preferably financial or accounting systems
31 2 or more years of practical experience with accounting processes, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the month end close, gained in an accounting role or by supporting accounting teams directly
31 1 or more years of experience working with artificial intelligence tools or features within business applications, including evaluating, configuring, and monitoring their use
31 Experience managing application upgrades, patches, and vendor support cases through structured change management
31 Experience building and supporting integrations between business systems
31 Experience writing reports and analyzing data; experience with structured query language or equivalent reporting tools preferred
31 Experience in healthcare, senior living, or another regulated environment preferred
Compensation is $70,000 - $110,000 per year, based on background and experience and includes our comprehensive benefits package
