Katten seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier and dynamic Financial Markets and Regulatory Practice Group working from its Chicago, New York or Washington, D.C. office.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of core experience in financial services, including securities and/or derivatives, as well as experience with negotiating trading agreements. Experience with providing legal advice involving digital assets, blockchain technology is also preferred.
Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills are required. Candidates must be admitted to the Illinois (for Chicago), New York (for New York) or Washington, D.C. (for Washington, D.C.) bar or immediately eligible to waive in.
The estimated salary range for this role is $270,000 - $385,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to: relevant experience and work history, graduation and class year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
