Standard Job Description

The Production Finance organization is looking for a highly self-motivated individual to partner with the SEC (Space Electronics Center) to analyze, forecast, and identify risk/opps to program manufacturing scope (electronics and harness) progressing through the manufacturing center. This analyst partners with the MPM (Manufacturing Program Manager) to develop actionable financial targets to technician and functional support populations, as well as taking action with Production leadership to mitigate any overruns to financial targets. The analyst will also have continuous interaction with program finance and CAM counterparts to surface any cost issues or opportunities that the analyst and MPM are discovering on the manufacturing floor.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing production order/part number financial targets and analyzing, with SEC MPM, weekly/monthly performance to established targets.
  • Developing support to touch financial targets for functional support organizations, in addition to communicating these targets and holding organizations accountable to achieve them.
  • Consolidating both production order and support financial estimates into an overall Estimate At Complete (EAC) that is then communicated to Production and Program leadership/CAMs.
  • Brief Production leadership and Director on monthly financial performance, risk/opps, and outstanding actions for analyst's subset of manufacturing scope and programs
  • Assist MPM and Program CAMs with annual Comprehensive Estimate at Complete (CEAC) for manufacturing scope.
  • Using Excel Power Query, Alteryx, Tableau, and Tableau Prep to accomplish key responsibilities.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and act as a financial business partner to the SEC Director and their leadership team.
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Manufacturing or any other related disciplines or any other discipline or a Master's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven effective analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and balance many diverse priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills


Desired Skills

  • 5+ years of related Program or Production finance experience
  • Substantial experience partnering and communicating with technical and non-financially literate stakeholders
  • Expert in Tableau, Tableau Prep, Excel, Power Query, and Alteryx software
  • Experience in Cobra and SAP systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production order mechanics, and Production organization structure
  • Knowledge of Program structure, processes, and financial systems
  • Self-starter and ability to operate autonomously to meet objectives
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, stakeholders, and program needs


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
