Position Summary

Navaide is seeking a Financial Management (FM) Systems Lead to provide functional leadership across enterprise financial systems supporting a large Department of Defense organization.

This role serves as the bridge between business operations and technology, ensuring enterprise financial systems continue to meet evolving mission needs while supporting modernization initiatives and organizational change. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for sustaining enterprise ERP capabilities, guiding modernization efforts, supporting business transformation initiatives, and delivering innovative solutions that improve financial operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead a team responsible for sustaining and modernizing enterprise financial systems.
  • Provide functional leadership for ERP sustainment, modernization, system enhancements, and business process improvements.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Lead analysis of organizational changes, policy updates, and emerging requirements to assess impacts on enterprise financial systems.
  • Support enterprise modernization initiatives, including ERP transformation, data modernization, automation, and process optimization.
  • Coordinate across functional, technical, and program teams to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and special initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial systems within the Department of Defense or Federal Government.
  • Experience leading ERP sustainment, modernization, or enterprise business system initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Management business processes and enterprise operations.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements and implement technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, or other enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Experience supporting financial system modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management, business process reengineering, or enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled business solutions.
  • SAP certification, PMP, Agile, or other relevant professional certifications.
