Job Description:
The Assistant Director, FP&A serves as a strategic financial partner responsible for financial planning, analysis, and decision support across
assigned business units or firmwide functions. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and partners directly with senior leadership
to drive financial performance, improve transparency, and support strategic decision-making.
In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, this role plays a key part in enhancing the firm’s use of financial data by improving reporting,
strengthening data integrity, and translating complex financial information into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Serve as a financial advisor to senior leadership, translating business strategies into financial frameworks
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data and reporting
• Identify and resolve financial anomalies and discrepancies
• Translate business needs into reporting and data requirements
• Partner with reporting, IT, and analytics teams to enhance tools and dashboards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify efficiency and cost optimization opportunities
• Support firmwide initiatives requiring financial leadership and analysis
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis), financial analysis, or accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders
Preferred (Not Required):
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems
• Experience supporting multiple business units or functions
• Previous experience in a professional services environment is a plus (Audit / CPA firm preferred)

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $99,500.00 - $209,900.00 per year.
