Summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Resource Management Department within FLDSUPPACT.

Duties

Help

  • You will perform work in any phase or system of budget administration.
  • You will analyze and recommend cost and benefit alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations.
  • You implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
  • You will analyze national level programs, exceptionally large and complete programs, and develop, recommend and implement budgetary/financial policies.


Qualifications

FOR THE GS-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Serving as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management, policy and procedures within the organization.

2) Directing and/or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.

3) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.

4) Operating with a high degree of independence in carrying out budgetary and financial management responsibilities.

FOR THE GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Serving as a liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management, policy and procedures within the organization.

2) Performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.

3) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.

Education

GS-11:

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

OR

have completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

OR

possess an LL.M., if related

OR

a combination of graduate education and experience as described above that equates to one year of experience
