Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company's financial reporting and control environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, strengthening financial discipline, and providing reliable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Schedule Details:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:$125,000 - $150,000 annual salary

What You'll Do:- Financial Reporting & Close (30%)
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Ensure accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Review reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate external audits. - Accounting Operations & Controls (30%)
Manage core accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets). Maintain strong internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and mitigate financial risk while improving processes and systems. - Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis (30%)
Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor performance against plan, analyze variances, and provide insights to support leadership decision-making. - Leadership & Team Development (10%)
Lead and develop the accounting team through coaching, training, and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including team leadership.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ownership of financial close, audits, and core accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with high accountability and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communicator able to partner with non-financial stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
