In this role, you will:
Serve as a Strategic Partner to Educate & Empower Your Book of Business
- Engage potential leads to understand their goals, challenges, and what prevents full consolidation with Vanguard, while identifying when guidance, advice, or elevated support is needed.
- Expand conversations to uncover deeper financial needs and learn more about clients’ broader investment landscape and non-Vanguard holdings.
- Offer thoughtful situational guidance or position our managed advice services when appropriate, ensuring clients know exactly what to expect and supporting them through implementation.
- Support clients in aligning their actions with their financial goals through confident, value-driven positioning of Vanguard products and services.
- Manage and advance a diverse book of current clients, and prospects, who have not yet committed.
- Prioritize outreach based on potential, complexity, and timing. Continuously mining your book for opportunities to deepen impact.
- Position Vanguard thoughtfully to earn trust, consolidate assets, and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, advisors, and service teams to ensure each experience is smooth, supported, and aligned with our standards.
Deliver Personalized Value & Drive Growth Through Meaningful Outreach
- Conduct advanced financial needs analyses to match client goals with the right Vanguard solutions.
- Use your market and product expertise to help clients evaluate investment options and understand both the advantages and considerations behind them.
- Follow through to ensure recommendations are received, understood, and acted upon.
- Convert sales leads generated internally by initiating conversations that help prospects consider Vanguard as their long-term partner.
- Conduct hightouch outreach. Including inbound, and outbound calls, that are tailored to the clients readiness and specific needs.
- Identify obstacles preventing consolidation, address concerns, and guide clients toward clear next steps.

- Share insights, elevate sales skills, and model continuous improvement.

What it takes:- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- At least three years of related work, ideally within financial services.
- Experience managing a book of business and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to translate financial complexity into client confidence.
- Excellent communicationverbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and timemanagement instincts.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Broad knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, markets, and services (preferred).
- Required regulatory licensing:
- SIE and Series 7 prior to start
- Series 63/65 or 66 (or equivalent designations where eligible), which may be completed after hire
- Compliance will confirm which qualifications apply based on role responsibilities.
