Full Job Description
This role bridges finance and technology by transforming financial data into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, support planning, and drive strategic decision-making. This role combines financial analysis, data management, and process optimization to enhance business performance within the FARO INSIGHT business segment. This is an in-office or hybrid role; Orlando preferred. Some travel required.

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to evaluate historical performance and support forward-looking analysis.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Monitor performance against plans and highlight key variances.

Data Analysis & Systems
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Strategic Planning
  • Provide financial insights to senior leadership to inform investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational execution.

Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools.

Risk Management
  • Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.


Qualifications & Skills:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, automation).
  • Experience with SQL and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management).
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot) is an asset.

Analytical Skills
  • Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.

Communication Skills
  • Ability to effectively present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications
  • CPA/CFA or other relevant professional certifications are considered an asset.
