Financial Applications Sr. Analysts for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Provide financial application support to the overall Finance organization, identifying root causes of Finance related incidents and carrying out process improvements and break fixes. Will serve as primary resolution point for all issues regarding assigned applications, including support and administration of Workday Financials, configuring business process workflows, system notifications, the underlying system reports, and for General Accounting, Business Assets, Projects, Grants, Gifts, Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting modules. Provide cross-functional understanding of financial data and its intersections and inter-dependencies across the assigned application platform/ecosystem, including healthcare and research accounting. Oversee internal roadmap and project management and execution of upcoming application deliverables. Collaborate with technology and security. Review system upgrades and release notes to determine overall impact on existing processes. Develop and perform regression testing scenarios to demonstrate system effectiveness. Make recommendations of future enhancements/functionalities with an eye towards improving the overall platform and user experience. Lead and/or support in the review and documentation of new and revised report requirements and implementation plans. Provide technical guidance around reports and dashboards to business and technical teams. Workday Report Writing including complex calculated fields. Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex reports (advanced, matrix, composite) and dashboards. Technical Environment: Workday: HCM, Finance, SCM, Reporting, Studio.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems, Finance or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis/design required. Required: 4 years with each: support and administration of Workday Financials; Workday Report Writing including complex calculated fields. Exp must include: working with payroll, general ledger, budgeting and financial accounting concepts; healthcare/research accounting; related project management experience; Workday: HCM, Finance, SCM, Reporting, Studio. May work remotely. Drug screen and background check required. $149,032/yr- $154,440/yr + Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 403(b).
