Full Job Description
The Financial Analytics Manager plays a key role in turning data into actionable insights that drive business performance across the organization. This position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Culinary, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making. The Manager will lead a variety of financial and operational analytics, including commodity usage forecasting and reconciliation, menu and recipe insights and modeling, hourly labor predictive modeling, and ad hoc business analysis. This role will help translate complex data into clear recommendations that have a meaningful impact on restaurant operations and overall business results. We're looking for a highly analytical and curious leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and can effectively influence cross-functional partners through proactive insights, reporting, and recommendations. This is a full-time position based at the True Food Kitchen corporate office in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a hybrid work schedule. Data, Insights & Analytics • Support operations, culinary, and supply chain teams with labor and menu insights, recipe maintenance, procurement forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses • Maintain and enhance the inventory management and labor forecast systems • Proactively drive business results with high-quality data-driven business analytics, analytic models, and strategies which address business issues • Translate complex analytics outcomes into value-added, actionable insights that can drive operational and strategic business decisions • Drive insights and influence outcomes by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and supporting cross-functional business initiatives • Identify and create data efficiency opportunities and streamline processes to facilitate delivery of insights • Contribute as an instrumental liaison between the finance, supply chain, and culinary teams • Prepare ad-hoc financial and business analyses and reporting in various operational and financial areas • Utilize data mining techniques to facilitate business modeling and analysis. • Support in the preparation of financial presentations and other projects requested by management The Recipe for Success • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field • 5+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated growth in Finance & Analytics positions; prefer multi-level restaurant/hospitality experience • Strong analytical skills with an intuitive feel for the business; high level of intellectual curiosity with and understanding of where data driven insights might lie and the potential impact on the business • Collaborative personality with ability to interpret a variety of different data sources • Efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvements; provide support to increase leverage of technology tools for greater efficiencies and automation • Sense of ownership and highest standards for data accuracy, precision, and integrity • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated • High energy and enthusiasm with a sense of urgency; excels working in a fast paced, dynamic environment • High confidence and experience with financial and reporting systems and database applications such as Adaptive Insights, CrunchTime (inventory management) and/or Hyperion (Oracle), Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools such as Mirus, Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Microstrategy, preferred.
