Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst - Treasury Pricing & Return Optimization role sits within Corporate Treasury and supports the bank's pricing, profitability, and return optimization work. This team is leading efforts to optimize balance sheet returns in partnership with business line product owners, Finance, Corporate Strategy and other key stakeholder groups across the organization. This role will help drive consistent and comprehensive measurement of returns across the organization. This includes understanding bank products and services, pricing, delivery costs, expense attribution and capital and liquidity requirements. This role will provide support to senior management to guide decisions on the deployment of balance sheet and capital in support of the Company's business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Support key pricing, profitability, and return optimization efforts for the bank
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, models, and visualization tools for profitability reporting and analytics across the organization
- Partner with business lines and CFO Finance organizations on data analytics and reporting
- Support capital allocation efforts and broader strategic decision-making across the bank
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting, ad-hoc analytics, and month-end close-related responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of presentations and materials for various levels of the organization
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically two or more years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:- Finance or economics background. Financial institution experience; Corporate Treasury experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of key bank products and financial statements
- Experience quantifying or measuring product profitability and economic drivers
- Strong technical ability with data mining and visualization tools including Excel, SQL, and PowerBI
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort communicating complex topics with bankers and senior leaders
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to learn new topics and concepts quickly
- CFA, MBA, or working toward those credentials helpful but not required
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00
