This role will require 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Take on an impactful Finance Analyst role that directly impacts bringing life-saving products to our patients! This role provides key support to the US Structural Heart commercial teams. The Finance Analyst focuses on several areas that support the execution of our US P&L: alignments, revenue allocations, productivity, and expense management. This role sits within the broader Interventional Cardiology Therapies Finance team and reports to the Finance Director of US Structural Heart Commercial.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensure customers are aligned to the correct sales territories and partner with Sales Leaders on proposed organizational changes
  • Own the internal warehouse revenue allocation process across field teams
  • Lead forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting for US field expenses and partner with Sales Leaders on their results
  • Build and maintain productivity models to evaluate historical performance and future scenarios
  • Support annual planning and long-range planning through US metric modeling
  • Cross-functional partnership with internal teams including Total Rewards, Sales Compensation, Patient Registration, and Finance Systems
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for business partners and the operating unit


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing, Business, Marketing, or Economics
  • On-site in MN 4 days per week


Nice to Have
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power Point, and Business objects
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking
  • Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability
  • Experience working with commercial sales leaders


For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. A7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$69,600.00 - $104,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).
