Full Job Description
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role supports strategic decision-making by developing financial models, analyzing cost accounting data, and managing system activities within our Decision Support System.

Key Responsibilities will include: Partner with the Director of Financial Planning to develop financial models and conduct scenario-based analysis .Evaluate product line performance and cost accounting data based on changes in service costs and utilization. Manage Decision Support System operations, including: Data loading and validation, Structure maintenance, Reconciliation of financial data. Report generation and distribution and Perform data reconciliation and ensure accuracy across financial systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis, under supervision, by utilizing appropriate financial tools.
  • Prepare analysis of revenue and expenses by modelling changes in key variables.
  • Actively support during the monthly closure, quarterly forecast, and annual budget processes for the department.
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of compliance with contract policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.


Minimum Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field of study required.


Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum Requirement: 2+ years of experience in management/administration of financial/budgetary processes, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Some experience in healthcare finance and accounting involving budget development preferred.


Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $65,520 - $114,400 per year for the role of Financial Analyst.
