Target Salary: $85,000 - $102,000 annually

Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for assigned service divisions and support centers. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position works closely with division leaders, finance staff, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and clear financial information that supports operational decision-making and fiscal accountability. The Financial Analyst monitors budget-to-actual performance, supports forecast updates, and analyzes key revenue, payroll, utilization, and cost trends to help identify issues requiring follow-up or escalation.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain division-level financial reports for assigned service divisions and support centers
- Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify variances requiring follow-up or escalation
- Support forecast updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational priorities
- Analyze key revenue, payroll, utilization, and cost trends to surface meaningful insights
- Partner with division leaders, finance staff, and other stakeholders to provide clear and timely financial information
- Interpret and communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial managers across the organization
- Support fiscal accountability and effective financial management across assigned areas
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree with a major in business management, accounting, or finance, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of financial analyst experience
- Advanced knowledge, experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with databases
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for not-for-profit organizations
- Ability to interact with non-financial managers and to explain and interpret financial concepts to them
- Capacity to quickly understand concepts and identify key revenue drivers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent judgment, listening skills, critical writing, and thinking skills
- High degree of professionalism, maturity, and ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality
- Ability to work in an independent manner
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Outlook and Word
- Requires someone to sit for long periods of time, talk on the phone, and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of their day; infrequent light physical effort required
- Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment
