Financial Analyst, Mid
The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a program analyst to join our team as we maintain responsibility for technical activities or analyses and provide analytical support to the business management division lead in the execution of program and product acquisition activities, including acquisition strategies, budgets, and project managers and directors to support a business management division in a PM or PEO organization. You'll work with program leadership to monitor the cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint and maintaining daily interactions with customers, project leads, and budget analysts. The real power of program analysis comes from communication, so you'll analyze the creation of budget plans, program status briefings, and analysis and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with finance or program or project analyses, including reconciling and forecasting financial data
  • Experience with unfunded requirements (UFRs), supplemental budgets, what-if drills, impact statements, budget execution reviews, variance reporting, mid-year review preparation, obligation and spend plans, continuing resolution authority (CRA) requirements, and justifications
  • Experience executing funding documents and financial reports for assigned programs, including multiple ACAT levels
  • Experience using Army acquisition policy and regulations to support program strategic decision-making
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Knowledge of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning, interagency customer agreements, manpower, and Continuing Resolution plans
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing and providing briefings, issue sheets, impact papers, reclamas, ACAT coordination or strategy reports, P&R budget exhibits, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), programmatic risk reviews, and acquisition decision memorandum development to support the overall acquisition process for any program
  • Experience with weapon system review requirements and coordination and program management reviews
  • Knowledge of fiscal law applications, GAO and AAA audits, and Congressional Justification Book (CJB) updates
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
