Financial Analyst Manager (Level 5)

Location: Fort Worth TX

What You Will Be Doing
The Financial Analyst Manager will support the F-35 Senior Manager - Business Manager for F-35 Sustainment in the overall business management of a diverse contract portfolio. This role requires broad business acumen and a strong understanding of key business processes, including Proposals, Contracts, Estimating, Financial Planning, Independent Cost Estimating, and related financial disciplines.

The successful candidate will provide overall financial oversight for new proposals and existing contracts, ensuring sound cost and financial baselines, conducting financial risk assessments, and maintaining accurate financial forecasts. This position plays a critical role in supporting program financial performance, contractual reporting requirements, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) planning, and strategic decision-making across the F-35 Sustainment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the F-35 Senior Manager - Business Manager in the overall business management of the F-35 Sustainment contract portfolio.

- Provide financial oversight associated with new proposals and contract execution activities.

- Ensure assigned contracts maintain sound cost and financial baselines.

- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop recommendations to mitigate identified risks.

- Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for assigned programs and contracts.

- Support the establishment of program ground rules for Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) planning activities.

- Prepare and submit contractual Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables, including:
• Integrated Performance Management Reports (IPMR/IPMDAR)
• Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSR)
• Other contractual reporting requirements

- Identify opportunities for cost improvement and support the implementation of recommended corrective actions.

- Develop and monitor program termination liability forecasts.

- Develop and monitor program funding forecasts.

- Prepare and conduct Contract Status Reviews focused on program financial performance and status.

- Coordinate across multiple program teams and functional organizations to ensure alignment of financial objectives, reporting, and business processes.

You are a strategic and analytical finance leader with experience in program financial management, forecasting, cost analysis, and contract performance within complex business environments. Leveraging expertise in financial planning, estimating, proposals, and cost management, you provide actionable insights and recommendations that support sound business decisions and program success. You excel at assessing financial risks, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining accuracy and accountability. A strong communicator and collaborator, you effectively partner with program teams, functional organizations, and leadership to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and achieve organizational objectives.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. May require periodic international travel.

Basic Qualifications

Experience with Earned Value (EV) applications.

Experience with US Government reporting requirements, i.e. Cost Performance Reports, Integrated Performance Management Reports, Contract Funds Status Reports and Contractor Cost Data Reports.

Experience with contract / proposal processes and procedures.

Experience with contract types and variations.

Informational Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).

Desired skills

Familiarity with LM Aeronautics business systems including SAP, CostView/COBRA, ADAR, Hyperion and others.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - working knowledge of Orders, Sales, Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) and Cash
Proven ability to thrive in a fast changing, non standard work environment, quickly adapting to shifting priorities and reliably delivering high quality results on urgent, short turnaround requests.
Demonstrated success leading teams, whether formally or informally, in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years or more of professional experience

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
