This position performs moderately complex financial procedures, prepares financial plans, and reports on a periodic or ad hoc basis. This requires and understanding of the business environment and the basic operations of the area being supported.
• Perform and apply financial analysis techniques including but not limited to variance analysis, statistical analysis, scenario analysis, financial and cash flow modeling, etc., to projects and decisions as requested by management
• Analyze and document complex work processes and promote improvement (quality and efficiency) through root cause analysis and process improvement justification
• Provide functional guidance regularly to technicians and less experienced team members
• Respond to questions regarding finance and accounting issues by possessing a working knowledge of finance and accounting activities and the transactions that form the basis of financial results
• Prepare and present financial information in appropriate format to departmental management
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance
• U.S. Citizen
• Keep apprised of changes in governmental, professional, and internal reporting requirements, accounting principles and standards through analysis of published materials, attendance at professional meetings and seminars, and discussions with corporate-wide financial professionals

Preferred Qualifications
• Local candidtes preferred
• Four (4) years of related finance or equivalent business experience
• Experience in an Engineering and Construction environment is beneficial
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated basic leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to deliver timely and accurate information
• Ability to interact and build rapport with peers and operational management
• Certified expert in Excel, PowerPoint and Access; proficient in Word and other personal computer applications
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, such as SAP
• Uses Fluor's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and other information technology systems
• Cross-functional experience working on projects an activities outside the financial planning and analysis organization within the finance function
• Demonstrated leadership in the development and implementation of a tool, template, or work process that is used throughout the financial planning and analysis organization and is accepted as the standard

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $67,000.00 - $125,000.00
