Full Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Maritime Dominance division builds advanced autonomous undersea vehicle systems designed to deter, compel, and defeat adversaries at scale. Our portfolio - including platforms like Dive-LD and Copperhead - spans high-performance multi-mission undersea vehicles purpose-built for contested environments and hyper-scale production. The Maritime Finance team provides the financial infrastructure to support programs as they scale from rapid development through production ramp, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program leadership to maintain cost visibility and financial rigor across a fast-growing portfolio.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Financial Analyst, you will provide dedicated finance support to the Undersea Reconnaissance & Strike Business Line within the Maritime Division. This portfolio spans cutting-edge AUV programs that are rapidly scaling from development into production. Your primary focus will be tracking and forecasting the cost build-up of hardware programs - understanding how material, labor, and overhead flow through each stage of the product lifecycle and translating that into reliable baselines, forecasts, and variance analysis.

You will work closely with Program Managers, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Accounting to ensure cost visibility keeps pace with program execution. This role requires someone who can operate autonomously, drive projects from inception to completion, and communicate financial performance clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own program-level cost forecasting and EAC/ETC development for hardware programs transitioning from development to production
  • Build and maintain bottoms-up cost models that capture material, labor, overhead, and subcontract elements across the hardware build cycle
  • Track actuals against baselines, identify variances, and drive root-cause analysis with program teams
  • Support the development and improvement of forecasting workflows in FP&A and ERP tools (Oracle, Hyperion EPM, Foundry)
  • Contribute to long-range planning and production rate ramp financial modeling
Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process efficiency
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, program finance, or cost analysis - preferably in an environment that manufactures or integrates hardware
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and carry projects forward with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting financial narratives and variance explanations to non-finance stakeholders
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • DoD industry experience or familiarity with government contract cost accounting (FAR/CAS)
  • Security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Exposure to supply chain or manufacturing finance
  • Experience building or managing cost models for physical products (BOM-based costing, production cost build-ups, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of how material, labor, and indirect costs flow through a manufacturing or defense program lifecycle
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data tools; experience with ERP platforms (Oracle preferred) is a plus
