Position summary
Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. This role is contingent upon award of contract.
What will you do in this role?
- Provide financial analytical support for federal programs and initiatives
- Integrate business, cost estimating, and financial management processes
- Develop strategic financial plans and cost estimates
- Translate funding requirements into executable budgets
- Assess procedures for compliance with government regulations and accounting principles
- Support multi-tiered financial system applications and standards
- Experience with activity-based costing, business case analysis, and outsourcing requirements preferred
- Support transaction processing, research, tracking, and documentation
- Assist with client workflows to ensure efficient and accurate operations
- Perform reconciliations and compliance-focused reviews
- Organize and validate financial data
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- On-site in Washington, DC daily
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field - Minimum 4 years of experience supporting federal financial management processes
- Federal employee or federal contractor experience preferred
- Strong communication and software application skills
- Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $86,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
