OverviewOur Financial Analyst is an onsite position that reports directly to the FP&A Manager at Harbor's corporate headquarters and will be a member of the team that is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Working closely with the Finance and Accounting teams as well as other departments within the organization, the Financial Analyst helps the company make sound financial decisions through research and accurate analysis of financial data.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:- Evaluates financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
- Assists with period-end review and reconciliation of specific GL accounts, including the preparation of journal entries.
- Performs financial reporting and forecasting.
- Works closely with the FP&A Manager and the business to complete timely and accurate budgets.
- Analyzes past results, performs variance analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Identifies and drives process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and tools.
- Creates financial models& reporting tools to support decision making across the organization.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Gains and updates job knowledge to remain informed on trends in the industry.
- Other duties as assigned by the FP&A Manager.

QualificationsEducation and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
- 2-4 years' experience in business finance or other relevant experience.
- Excel at an Intermediate/Advanced level a must.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL reporting a plus.
- Large company $500MM+ min volume experience preferred
