Financial Analyst
Location: Eau Claire, WI
Compensation: $77,600-$93,500 a year

Conducts quantitative analysis of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. Manages the manufacturing organization's financial planning and analysis functions. Assists with daily and month-end accounting activities in order to segregate duties and strengthen internal control mechanisms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of all financial data necessary for consolidated financial statements
  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls
  • Managing the budget process, forecasts, and cost accounting variance analysis
  • Performs daily and month-end accounting activities in support of the Staff Accountant, to share workload and create proper segregation of duties in accordance with Audit guidelines and internal control mechanisms
  • Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making
  • Standard to actual margin analysis and fixed asset audits and justifications
  • Reviews past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develops models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions
  • Recommends strategies meant to assist the organization in meeting its long-term financial objectives
  • Analyze production variances in relation to cost savings and provide recommendations.

Education:
