Join Vanguard as a Situational Advisor (CFP®)
Are you a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) looking to make a meaningful impact at scale? Vanguard is seeking experienced financial professionals to join our Workplace Advice team, supporting approximately 120,000 participants across one of Vanguard's largest Enterprise Clients.
This is a unique opportunity to deliver personalized, point-in-time financial guidance that helps participants navigate important financial decisions with confidence. Unlike traditional advisory roles, this position does not involve ongoing portfolio management or book-of-business ownership. Instead, you'll focus on providing consultative advice, education, and planning guidance that empowers participants to take action toward their financial goals.
As a Vanguard Situational Advisor, You Will:
Deliver personalized financial planning and investment guidance through scheduled consultations with participants.
Help participants navigate key financial decisions related to retirement readiness, investment allocation, savings strategies, and broader financial goals.
Apply a consultative approach to uncover participant needs and recommend appropriate planning solutions.
Educate participants on Vanguard's advice offerings and resources available to support their financial journey.
Build trust and credibility by simplifying complex financial concepts into actionable recommendations.
Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality participant experience and support client objectives.

Qualifications:
Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation required.
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65/66 licenses (or ability to obtain within three months of assuming the position).
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years of financial planning and client relationship management experience.
Strong investment knowledge and financial planning acumen.
Consultative sales experience strongly preferred.
