Job Details

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Finance Solution Architect who combines deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes with strong technical expertise to design and deliver scalable, modern finance solutions. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technology architectures that enable efficiency, compliance, and innovation across global finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Architecture: Develop end-to-end finance solution architectures that align with business processes, regulatory requirements, and enterprise technology standards.


  • Business Process Translation: Understand finance and accounting terminology and workflows (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, tax compliance) and translate them into functional and technical specifications.


  • Technology Integration: Design solutions leveraging modern finance technologies such as SAP, Vertex, Vistex, Esker, Ariba, Concur, and advanced data tools for analytics and automation.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, IT, and business teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs and strategic objectives.


  • Best Practices & Governance: Apply industry best practices for finance systems architecture, data integrity, and security while ensuring compliance with global standards.


  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability.


  • Develop and maintain target state architectures and roadmaps aligned with business strategy and technology trends.


  • Provide architectural leadership and ensure stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams.


  • Deliver end-to-end architecture designs across business, data, application, and technology domains.


  • Define and uphold architectural best practices, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and fit for purpose.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, flexible solutions aligned with business needs using modern technologies (e.g. microservices, orchestration, data integration).
  • IT Strategy & Planning: Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and ensure alignment of projects with architectural standards.
  • Enterprise Roadmaps: Define and present target architectures and migration plans; promote standardization across Corporate IT.
  • Development Support: Guide teams on implementing architecture, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring delivery meets business KPIs.
  • Governance & Standards: Develop and maintain IT policies; support architecture reviews and advocate EA principles.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work across teams to build capability and share expertise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with Enterprise Architecture, Security and Audit to ensure robust, secure solution designs.


Qualifications:

Education:

Experience:
  • Proven experience implementing and integrating ERP and finance systems in large-scale environments.
  • 5+ years as a Solution Architect across financial applications, data, and security domains.

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, modelling, and risk analysis skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and consensus-building abilities.
  • Proven consultancy skills across business analysis, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and software design.


Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting systems and technologies.
  • Expertise in system integration, data modeling, and process automation.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
