POSITION SUMMARY

Kelvion is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join the Americas Finance team as Operations Business Partner. This position will report to the Sr. Manager FP&A.

The Operations Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role in aligning financial strategies with operational goals. This position serves as a liaison between the finance team and operational departments, providing financial insights, driving performance improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Act as a key financial advisor to manufacturing leadership, offering insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand business processes and challenges, providing financial strategies that drive process improvement, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets specific to manufacturing operations. Monitor performance against financial targets and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze and manage manufacturing costs, including direct and indirect costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with teams to implement cost control measures.
  • Preparation of monthly performance reporting including analysis of operational performance versus forecast, plant inventory DIO reporting, budget, and prior year
  • Support financial aspects of manufacturing projects, including capital expenditures, process improvements, and new initiatives. Ensure alignment with financial objectives and ROI expectations.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely information
  • Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of key financial metrics and implications.
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders and other key stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and support.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business Administration or Accounting
  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and deliver results
  • Able to take the initiative and demonstrate an attitude towards continuous improvement
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and partnerships throughout the organization acting as a team player
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail
  • High degree of motivation, intelligence, independent worker mindset with an orientation to detail
  • Proven quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Understanding and experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP & Syteline is an advantage
  • CPA preferred
