In financial operations at PwC, you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.

  • Support teams in delivering business-led, technology-enabled projects for Finance Consulting services.
  • Assist in preparing materials and logistics for workshops with key Finance stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Finance Transformation engagements, including:
    • Supporting technology tool implementations for Finance Operations (e.g., SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle. OneStream, AWS, GCP).
    • Assisting in Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design activities.
    • Helping assess and improve Finance processes, supported by technology.
  • Collaborate with engagement managers and senior team members to manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and review deliverable content to ensure quality and consistency with PwC and client expectations.
  • Participate in proposal development by providing research and supporting documentation.

    • Record-to-Report (financial close, consolidation, reporting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll)
    • Order-to-Cash (order entry, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections)
    • Procure-to-Pay (procurement, accounts payable)
  • Interest in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives in back office accounting areas.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,100. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
