Purpose of RoleFinance Manager to support the CFO and handle the day-to-day execution of the finance function, including reporting, budgeting, and ensuring key deliverables are completed on time. This is a high-impact, fully in-person, hands-on role, based in our Roseland office. The right candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment where priorities can shift and demands from attorneys are high.

Responsibilities- Own monthly internal financial and key metrics reporting and detailed analysis.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor actuals vs. budget and explain variances.
- Serve as the CFO's point person for day-to-day finance execution and follow through.
- Coordinate with practice areas and internal departments to manage project timelines, track key deliverables, and ensure execution.
- Build and maintain financial models and internal reporting tools.
- Prepare materials for partner and management meetings.
- Support leadership decision-making through analysis and reporting.
- Improve reporting structure, workflows, and efficiency.
- Maintain consistent, organized reporting formats.
- Partner with Accounting to align financial reporting with operational needs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, finance, or related role.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with SurePoint or similar financial management systems preferred.
- Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments (NetDocs) a plus.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with high-expectation attorneys and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, practical communicator.
Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses and a merit-based increase.
