Full Job Description
MUST RESIDE IN ILLINOIS

*Home Base location is flexible with periodic travel throughout the state to attend internal and external meetings, events, conferences, and client meetings. IMEC headquarter location is in Peoria, IL.

*Work authorization required. IMEC is unable to sponsor visas for this role.

The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the development of financial strategies, preparing budgets, monitoring fiscal performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves analyzing financial data, generating reports, and mentoring team members while identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational goals through sound financial planning and cross-departmental collaboration.

Essential Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.

Reporting and Compliance:

Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.

Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to strengthen compliance.

Team Leadership:

Mentor junior finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Optimize systems and tools for financial data analysis and reporting.

Risk Management:

Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.

Work Environment:

Hybrid work environment and standard hours with extended hours and weekend work as required.
