  • Partner with operations leadership to identify risks, opportunities, and actions needed to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Lead forecasting processes, including monthly and quarterly updates to financial outlooks and operational assumptions.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and long-range strategic planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs that provide visibility into operational and financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze labor productivity, headcount utilization, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop financial business cases and investment analyses for strategic initiatives, capital expenditures, sourcing decisions, and operational projects.
  • Support capital investment tracking, including post-investment performance analysis and savings realization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, operational efficiency, reporting automation, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functional teams to improve business performance and execution.
  • Enhance and improve financial processes related to standard costing, inventory, labor reporting, and operational analytics.

Must Have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience in operational finance, FP&A, manufacturing analytics, and business partnering
  • Experience driving key metrics, reporting, and "anticipating" key issues based on forecasts, manufacturing capacity, and partnering with the Operations leadership (Plant Manager) to mitigate risk.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities
  • Experience developing business cases and evaluating investment opportunities using financial analysis and forecasting tools
  • Ability to communicate financial information and operational insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive accountability through data and analysis
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, standard costing, BOMs, routings, labor productivity, and ERP systems
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, business-focused mindset

Good to have:

  • Experience in contract manufacturing, machining, molding, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
