Finance Manager, Operations FinancePosition SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a team of 5-8 analysts supporting Operations leadership. This role combines people leadership, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive partnership in a fast-paced operational environment.
The ideal candidate has prior management experience, strong forecasting and budgeting skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, EACs, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Partner with Operations leadership and approximately 6-7 VPs on financial planning and decision support.
- Review analyst work for accuracy, quality, and business relevance.
- Analyze labor, spending, and operational variances and explain key drivers.
- Translate financial results into clear business recommendations.
- Improve reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. Open to other Bachelor's depending on work experience.
- 8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, operational finance, project finance, or related experience.
- Prior people-management experience.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting or presenting to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications- Aerospace & Defense, Government Contracting, Manufacturing, Program Finance, or Operational Finance experience.
- Estimate at Completion (EAC) experience.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge.
- SAP and/or Power BI familiarity.
- Exposure to FAR, DFARS, or government contracting environments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
