Full Job Description
Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks a Vice President in FP&A who is responsible for partnering with senior members of the firm's leadership team on a range of financial matters such as client profitability and analysis, client cross-sell opportunities, and client growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong financial modeling skills and excellent communication abilities. You will assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. This role requires the ability to work seamlessly across global teams and multiple divisions, navigating various levels of seniority to drive firm-wide financial objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate existing financial workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies; design and implement improvements to enhance team productivity and data accuracy.
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create actionable solutions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and management inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization, both domestically and across our global offices.
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in a finance department; experience within an investment bank and or broker dealer highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative contributor within a global team, adapting to varying degrees of supervision depending on the specific assignment, process, or initiative.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work effectively across different divisions and with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and workflow optimization.
  • Must have the ability to execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
  • BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
  • The current estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
