Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Director, Finance - Engineered Cables, is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for shaping the financial strategy and driving integrated business planning for our Engineered Cables business. As the financial leader for this division, you will lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and results analysis while delivering insights that accelerate profitable growth. This role offers the opportunity to liaise with Winchester's CEO, CFO, COO, and other executive leadership to guide long-term financial direction, optimize capital allocation, and strengthen global operational performance.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Operations Finance, with a strong dotted line to the VP/GM of the Engineered Cables business. You will be instrumental in building high-caliber talent and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations.
  • 12-15+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
  • Significant experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven success supporting senior executives with strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Experience managing multi-site or global FP&A teams.
  • Expertise in analytics, forecasting, financial modeling, and operations finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting / US GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, paired with a constructive curiosity to drive change.
  • Effective at building relationships and resolving issues independently.
  • Strong technical skills and curiosity with respect to the use of technology.

  • Lead financial strategy, including long-range planning, strategic scenario modeling, and capital allocation for the Engineered Cables business unit.
  • Translate business strategy into financial targets, operating plans, and performance metrics while partnering with the executive team to evaluate strategic initiatives, footprint optimization, and major investments.
  • Direct the development of annual plans, monthly forecasts, and multi-year financial models. Deliver executive-ready reporting highlights key performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead the financial partnership with Operations to assess productivity, labor efficiency, direct material buys, throughput, scrap, and cost reduction efforts.
  • Oversee financial evaluation of capacity expansion, make-vs-buy analyses, and global footprint decisions.
  • Support pricing strategy, product margin analysis, and cost competitiveness initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and fast month-end close processes and maintain an internal control environment in line with Corporate Control policies.
  • Manage working capital through influencing receivables, payables, and inventory.
  • Support ERP implementation and maintenance, ensuring consistency in financial reporting across global sites and functions.
  • Build high-caliber talent through coaching, succession planning, and organizational design.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $220,000 per year plus 20% AIP. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
