Full Job Description
This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of Avis Budget Group's revenue engine.

As Director, Revenue Strategy, you will own the financial performance of our revenue and cost of sale portfolio-shaping how we price, forecast, and drive profitable growth across the business.

You will operate as a true P&L leader, partnering directly with senior executives across Sales, Operations, and Finance to influence decisions that materially impact company performance.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical, driven leader who wants to move beyond reporting and actively shape strategy, build a team, and leave a visible mark on the business.

What You'll Do:

P&L Ownership, Forecasting & Planning
  • Own financial performance across all revenue and cost of sale lines, including forecasting, planning, and delivery against targets
  • Lead the monthly forecast, annual planning, and long-range planning processes
  • Build and evolve driver-based models linking volume, pricing, mix, and cost structure
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve pricing, mix, and overall revenue quality
  • Establish scalable FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and performance management disciplines

Commercial Strategy & Pricing Influence
  • Serve as the financial leader on all major commercial decisions-pricing, contracts, and partnerships
  • Ensure deals are structured to maximize profitability and align with enterprise goals
  • Influence pricing strategy, discounting frameworks, and investment decisions

Advanced Analytics & Profitability Insights
  • Leverage transaction-level data to uncover margin opportunities and inefficiencies
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
  • Drive adoption of tools and analytics that elevate decision-making across the organization

Build & Lead a High-Performance Team
  • Lead a team with immediate direct reports and scale the organization over time
  • Hire, develop, and retain top talent-building a team known for analytical rigor and business impact
  • Create a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement

Executive Partnership & Influence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Operations, and Finance
  • Bring clarity to ambiguity-helping leaders make faster, better decisions with data
  • Communicate with precision and confidence in high-stakes settings

Perks You'll Get:
  • Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance
  • Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions
  • Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills
  • Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a related field; we value impact, ownership, and trajectory over years of experience
  • Experience influencing business performance through financial insights, with strong understanding of revenue and cost drivers
  • Highly analytical with exceptional modeling skills and the ability to connect data to strategy
  • A builder-comfortable creating structure, processes, and teams from the ground up
  • A clear, confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders

We car less about exact industry experience and more about:
  • Drive, curiosity, and intellectual horsepower
  • A bias for action and ownership
  • The ability to quickly learn a business and challenge assumptions

The annual starting salary for this position is between $160,000 - $200,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
