This leader will build a high-performing team that partners closely with technology and P&C finance leaders to influence investment decisions, challenge conventional thinking, and simplify complex financial information into actionable insights. Typical Skills and Experiences: Education: Undergraduate studies in finance, economics, accounting or statistics; advanced degree in financial field desired. Technical insurance coursework desirable. License/Certification/Designation: CPA preferred. Experience: Typically, ten or more years of relevant experience related to accounting, finance, insurance or administrative business functions, with at least five years of management level experience. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, financial statement preparation, budgeting and financial analysis techniques, and related business operations. Facility with GAAP and statutory accounting practices and insurance/financial service business requirements. Thorough knowledge of administrative policies and procedures required. Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
