As Finance Director, Global FP&A, you will serve as a trusted business partner, driving financial clarity and insight while strengthening reporting and enabling strategic decisions across Emerson's $500M systems and services business.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support consolidation of BU financial results across World Areas, ensuring completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Own preparation and distribution of monthly MIS reports aligned with BU and Group Level BU reporting requirements.
  • Synthesize inputs from World Areas and build a clear, consistent BU performance narrative.
  • Structure financial messaging to support reporting to Group Level BU and Emerson leadership.
  • Partner with BU World Area Finance leadership to understand drivers of performance and variance versus plan/forecast.
  • Perform variance analysis and consolidate key insights across World Areas.
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and key performance trends in a clear and structured manner.
  • Support Budget, Forecast, and POR processes across BU.
  • Coordinate inputs from World Areas, ensuring alignment on assumptions and timelines.
  • Support preparation of materials for financial reviews, President's Council, and executive discussions.
  • Own HFM data integrity and reporting for BU, ensuring accuracy of actuals and quarterly POR submissions.
  • Ensure alignment between HFM data and management reporting outputs.
  • Work with World Area teams to resolve data gaps, validation issues, and inconsistencies.
  • Support alignment on financial messaging, assumptions, and key performance drivers.
  • Support standardization and simplification of BU reporting processes.
  • Improve clarity and usability of financial outputs and dashboards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or business finance
  • Strong experience in financial consolidation, variance analysis, and management reporting

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
