Full Job Description
Job Description:

We are looking for someone to perform full cycle, month-end close, partner with the Business President and report monthly financials to the VP of Accounting at its headquarters office.

In this key role, you'll collaborate with the business unit President on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring the business adheres to core internal control policies and procedures.

What you'll do:
  • Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, job costing, payroll, billing and revenue recognition.
  • Oversee A/R, A/P and payroll.
  • Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) reporting to maintain healthy project margins
  • Manage Percentage of Completion job cost revenue
  • Perform full-cycle month end close processes.
  • Collaborate with the headquarters accounting team to report numbers and provide financial analysis.
  • Oversee cash flow management and working capital.
  • Perform forecasting and budget analysis.
  • Assist operations with the annual budget process.

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Robust understanding of month-end close procedures.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close, preferably in construction or a related industry
  • Proactive problem solver with strong multi-tasking and analytic abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great Plains or other comparable ERP system experience.
