Job Summary
This position will be responsible for helping drive the financial performance of the assigned Line of Business (LOB) or department within Finance. This role provides critical support for Key's strategic priority of deepening and growing relationships with our clients. Strong partnering skills and effective communication are integral competencies of this position as an individual in this role will be working closely with senior leadership in both the Line of Business and Finance. They must be comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with ability to provide solutions and analysis with limited direction at times.

Essential Functions
  • Develop or enhance existing driver based forecast models to predict financial performance under different scenarios and reduce limitations related to qualitative overlays.
  • Owns the monthly forecast process with Line of Business partner and provides oversight to business performance versus plan and actuals with the ability to quickly identify risks and opportunities to the forecast.
  • Manage new business pricing for servicing assignments.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and internal/external audits.
  • Understand macroeconomic factors that impact the business and connect the trends to financials and the performance of the business.
  • Utilizes analytics to create linkages across different client sets to provide insight into profitability and behavior across client cohorts.
  • Creates reporting to track progress relative to strategic initiatives.
  • Provides perspective on external benchmarks to business performance and strategic positioning.
  • Partners with the Line of Business, Finance and Corporate Treasury teams to provide insight and transparency into performance relative to strategic priorities and key performance metrics.
  • Presents to senior leadership on a quarterly or monthly basis with a focus on translating business driver trends to forward looking risks and opportunities.
  • Proactively reviews financials/client activity and works closely with Line of Business partners to elevate critical topics for monthly business reviews.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of analysts.
  • Provides support around month-end close including variance analysis and impact to future performance.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to eliminate inefficient or redundant activities and reporting.
  • Continuously identify areas where manual processes can be transformed into automated or self-service activities.
  • Supports Finance initiatives as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Finance, Accounting or related field) (preferred)


Work Experience
  • 7+ years of diverse analytical experience in Finance (required)
  • Exposure to Banking or Financial Services (preferred)
  • Previous managerial experience (preferred)
  • Fluency in financial systems (e.g., Workday, Adaptive Planning, TM1, Cognos) and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SAS, PowerPoint) to manage data and deliver insights (preferred)

  • Procedure writing acumen.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in performing and assessing audits.
  • Strong presenting skills including regular usage of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to develop and refine financial models that predict future performance based on business drivers, macroeconomic trends, and scenario planning.
  • Expertise in interpreting financial statements, identifying trends, and performing variance analysis to support decision-making and performance improvement.
  • A deep understanding of the business model, industry dynamics, and how financial decisions impact strategic goals and operational outcomes.
  • Capability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business health and drive accountability across departments.
  • Identifying inefficiencies in financial operations and implementing automation or self-service tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
  • Understanding financial and operational risks, including the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential impacts through proactive planning.
  • Focusing on internal and external client needs by aligning financial strategies with service delivery and relationship growth.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $116,000.00 - $216,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
