About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to serve as the lead finance professional supporting the Nuton Senior Leadership Team. In this strategic role, you will help shape business direction, influence key investment decisions, and support the execution of Nuton’s ambitious growth plans.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded finance professional to contribute to an innovative venture focused on unlocking new sources of critical metals through sustainable technologies.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance Americas and working within a collaborative and high-performing global team, you will:

  • Lead Nuton’s monthly and quarterly financial performance management and reporting.
  • Oversee cost management, forecasting, and the ongoing development of Nuton’s cost models.
  • Provide financial oversight across the portfolio, including investment tracking, project funding, and cash burn management.
  • Support capital allocation, studies, pilot programs, and long-term business planning activities.
  • Deliver financial insights and decision-support analysis to enable capital prioritization and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, IS&T, Tax, Treasury, and Controllership teams to ensure effective governance, compliance, and operational support.
  • Support portfolio modelling, business case development, project evaluations, and investment approvals.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects that advance Nuton’s business objectives.

Where you'll be working

Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter, and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903 and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of U.S. annual copper production.
