Job Type:

The Finance Business Partner will have a 360-degree view of the category. As a key member of the category finance team, this individual will act as a change agent and contribute to achieving the category’s financial objectives. Their primary mandate will be to work closely with both the category and sales teams to improve profitability through initiatives such as optimizing volume and product mix, implementing price increases, supporting contract renewals, managing investments, and improving manufacturing and delivery costs.

  • Salary scale 005: $84 600 to $105 800 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

 

Your role in achieving results:


  • Analyze and present monthly financial results and forecasts to the Category and Sales teams, including volume performance, profit and loss statements, marketing expenses, cost-to-serve, and other key financial metrics.
  • Support the Category Management Committee in developing strategies and making informed decisions through profitability analyses and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Category Review process from a business and financial perspective.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional category projects as the Finance Lead, including product launches, expansion initiatives, production capacity planning, customer prioritization, and other strategic projects.
  • Support the Sales team during major contract renewals and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Support the development and execution of pricing increase strategies and recommendations.
