Position Overview

International's Used Truck Center (UTC) in Denver, CO is seeking a Finance Business Manager to oversee the financial operations and business administration of the center. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall success of the operation.

The FinanceBusiness Manager serves as a key business partner to the sales team and center leadership, ensuring that all financial transactions, inventory activities, and business records are accurately reflected in company systems and maintained in accordance with established procedures. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding assets, supporting operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability for used truck inventory by performing reconciliations, analysis, and reporting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory balances and related accounting records.
  • Manage sales documentation, regulatory reporting, state sales tax collection, and vehicle title processing activities.
  • Process vehicle sales transactions and accounts payable activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage cash receipts and disbursements and perform bank reconciliations related to sales transactions.
  • Calculate, reconcile, and administer sales commission payments.
  • Maintain vendor master data, including vendor setup, payment terms, and ongoing record maintenance.
  • Partner with the Dealer Operations Group to coordinate dealer license and local business license renewals and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Provide accounting, tax, title, and transactional support to the sales team and other business partners.
  • Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits by providing accurate financial information, supporting documentation, and timely responses to audit inquiries.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls in collaboration with the Center Manager and sales team to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting and sales administration functions.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of finance and general accounting experience

OR
  • Master's degree and no experience

OR
  • At least 3 years of finance and general accounting experience

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
