OverviewResponsibilities
Under the direction of the Corporate Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s), the Corporate Finance Analyst will work on various ASC projects for the medical groups team. This role supports Clinical Operations and Financial Operations in driving meaningful year-over-year growth for Prime's ASC Operations. The analyst will work with stakeholders from multiple ASCs and Prime corporate departments and be a strong team player:
- Analyze monthly and quarterly results regarding facility performance vs budget, forecast, and prior periods; and provide thoughtful insight and recommendations on the business' trajectory
- Drive decision making using analytics (i.e. contribution margin, cash generation, benchmarking, other ad hoc requests) to support initiatives of the ASC Operations team
- Generate standard monthly operating/financial reports
- Assemble presentations for monthly and quarterly surgery center and JV board meetings
- Build financial models and projections for transactions with new physician investors and potential mergers
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient processes that deliver optimum results
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business field required (Finance/Economics/Accounting)
1-2 years of experience working in a surgery center related role with relevant healthcare experience is recommended.
Demonstrates decision making skills, is a critical thinker, intellectually curious and analytical
Understands basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial statements/reporting
Ability to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, and recognize patterns
Ability to meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and manage conflicting priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to travel 40% of time to Southern California sites
Preferred qualifications:
Working knowledge of government & non-governmental payor reimbursement methodologies, coding practices, and denials & appeals protocols preferred.
Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Office products like Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information of both patient and employees.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $76,128.00 to $99,590.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
