Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
You have the ability to use numbers to see the bigger picture and enjoy using your creativity when devising ways to look at and report data. You're able to work effectively with non-finance teams to forecast revenues and expenditures and advise on future budgeting. You are comfortable working in an ERP system, ideally Anaplan. You explore investment options and set company-wide financial policies, and ultimately ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Develop financial models for monthly reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  • Leads regular reviews of financial performance with senior management and budget owners
  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Contribute to annual budget planning
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, or similar role
  • Familiarity with Anaplan a huge bonus
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
  • Excellent analytical and data gathering skills
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
